Description
🦁 Who Can Wear the 1 Mukhi Rudraksha?
In the SHiva Purana, it is stated that anyone can wear a Rudraksha with faith. However, astrologers often recommend the 1 Mukhi for specific groups due to its connection to the Sun:
- Zodiac Sign: While anyone can wear it, it is especially beneficial for people of the Leo (Simha Rashi) zodiac sign, as Leo is ruled by the Sun.
- Spiritual Seekers: Those dedicated to meditation, yoga, or the path of Moksha (liberation) find it immensely helpful for concentration and detachment.
- Leaders and Professionals: People in positions of authority, business leaders, politicians, and professionals who require strong decision-making, confidence, and charisma benefit greatly.
- For Astrological Remedy: Individuals with a weak or afflicted Sun in their birth chart (e.g., Sun in the 8th or 12th house) are advised to wear it to mitigate the malefic effects.

🙏 How to Wear the 1 Mukhi Rudraksha
For maximum benefit, the Rudraksha should be energized and worn following a specific procedure:
- Day for Wearing: The most auspicious day to wear a 1 Mukhi Rudraksha for the first time is a Monday (the day of Lord Shiva) or an auspicious day like Shivaratri.
- Purification: Wake up early, bathe, and wear clean clothes. Purify the bead by washing it gently with Ganga Jal (holy water) or fresh, clean water, and then with unboiled cow’s milk.
- Worship: Place the bead on a clean altar, preferably on a leaf of the Bael (Aegle marmelos) tree. Offer incense, flowers, and sandalwood paste.
- Energizing: Hold the bead in your hand and chant the Beej Mantra “Om Hreem Namah” or “Om Namah Shivaya” at least 108 times with devotion and clear intention.
- Wearing: Wear the Rudraksha, typically as a pendant around the neck, preferably encased in gold or silver, or strung on a red or white silk/wool thread. The bead should touch the skin for its energy to be fully transmitted.
